Hundreds of supporters turned up to celebrate the centenary anniversary of Mullingar RFC at a glamorous and historic night at the Mullingar Park Hotel last Sunday, 2 February.
Mullingar RFC was established and formalised on Friday, 2 October 1925 at their inaugural club meeting but were preceded by the Mullingar Rugby Club around two decades prior, the existence of which was cut short due to the Great War.
