The North Westmeath Historical Society was delighted to launch a reprint of Westmeath’s oldest known copy of a newspaper published in the county.
As part of Heritage Week, which ran between 17 August and 25 August, the society launched a reprint of a copy of the Westmeath Journal dated in 15 August, 1795.
