Kilbeggan woman Kate O’Connell is set to contest the upcoming general election as an independent candidate.
O’Connell (44) announced last weekend that she would run as an independent candidate in Dublin Bay South, the constituency she represented from 2016 to 2020 as a Fine Gael TD.
