Sorca Clarke TD said it is “totally unacceptable” for 2,159 learner drivers to still be waiting for a driving test and criticised the Government for failing “to keep pace with increasing demand.”
The driving test crisis, she claims, has been mismanaged by Fine Gael and Fianna Fáil and has led to a steep rise in the cost of learning to drive.
