Planning permission to open a new McDonald’s fast food restaurant and drive-thru facility at Lakepoint Retail and Business Park, Mullingar, has been granted by Westmeath County Council.
The local authority granted permission with 18 conditions for the development on Thursday, 13 February, with the construction and opening of the facility expected to be a welcome benefit to the local job market.
