Management and staff at Oaklands Community College, Edenderry were delighted to have been notified that not, one but two of the school’s Junior Cycle students have been recognised in the PDST National Poetry awards 2021.
Aimie Kerrigan’s poem “Fields of Hope” received Third Place in the Competition while “A Man’s World” by Saoirse Hoey was Highly Commended.
