A retirement celebration honouring Ballynacargy man Pat Beglan’s 44 years of service as a postman took place in the parish hall on Thursday, 27 February.
Opening proceedings, Deputy Robert Troy thanked Pat for his years of service and echoed the phrase Pat would often say, that “he never really went to work” because it never felt like work: “He loved his job,” the Minister said.
