Cars registered for the first time in Westmeath increased for the second consecutive year in 2024.
Statistics from the Central Statistics Office (CSO) reveals that 3,010 cars, either new or secondhand, were registered for the first time in Westmeath in 2024. The number of cars registered in 2024 was up 22.3% from 2022, and 8.7% from 2023, where 2,768 cars in total were registered for the first time in 2023.
