Westmeath Topic are excited to confirm that Santa is on his way to Ireland and Westmeath.
Just minutes ago, the man in red called our news desk to give the children of the county a very important message.
“Hello boys and girls, it’s Santa Claus here,” he said. “I am very happy to tell you that my sleigh is packed with presents, the reindeer are in great shape and I can confirm I will be coming to Ireland this very night!”
Santa told our festive reporter Nicholas Merryman that he has already delivered gifts to South Pacific, New Zealand, Australia, Japan, Asia and Africa and is currently making great time across Europe.
“I’ve been to so many places but don’t worry, I made a list and checked it twice and have everything onboard for good boys and girls of Westmeath. Even though some things were just too hard for the elves to make this year, don’t worry, I picked something special for everyone from Clonmellon to Crowenstown, Kinnegad to Kilbeggan, Castlepollard to Castletown Geoghegan and everywhere in between,” Santa said.
He ended with an important message for the little boys and girls of Westmeath.
“The most important thing is to get to bed early but not before you leave out a snack for me and a carrot for the reindeers. Ho Ho Ho! Merry Christmas!”
Westmeath Topic would like to wish our readers, at home and around the world, the blessings and good wishes of the Christmas season, and health and good fortune for 2025.
