Castletown – Geoghegan were pushed all the way by a battling St Oliver Plunkett’s side before they eventually ran out 11-point winners of this game to qualify for this year’s Westmeath senior hurling championship final.
Alan Mangan’s side were made work all the way though by a determined and physical Plunkett’s side in this keenly contested final round game, played in Killucan GAA grounds on Sunday afternoon last.
