Many of a certain vintage will find it hard to believe that Coláiste Mhuire have not won the Leinster title since 1983 when they beat fellow Westmeath side, Marist College of Athlone.

Given the pedigree the Mullingar school continues to show and the names which have donned the green jersey over the years, it is surprising not to see the school etched more than the solitary time over four-decades ago.
