This dream location and situation is just a short drive away. Welcome to The Sauna Society, a five-star experience on the shores of Lough Ennell, at Tudenham, Mullingar.
The Sauna Society was founded in 2023, with Tudenham proving to be the perfect spot in to build a sauna of its kind in Westmeath, along with an office, wood shed and changing rooms.
The Sauna Society is open Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 5.45am to 10.15pm, Saturdays from 10am to 10pm and Sundays from 10am to 6.15pm. These hours may differ during the summer, so please contact The Sauna Society in advance or visit their website for further information.
All you need to bring to enjoy the sauna is your swimwear, a towel, flip flops and a large bottle of water to stay hydrated. Nearby is Lis Cafe (opened during the summer months) and a caravan park (Lough Ennell Caravan Park).
The sauna has a capacity of seven persons per session and a booking of 8 to 10 persons can be made for a group.
Sessions last for 45 minutes, which includes changing time. Each use of the sauna is €15 per person. Check out their website for more information on offers for bundle bookings.
