The Local Transport Plan was presented at the September meeting of the Mullingar–Kinnegad Municipal District on Monday, 9 September.
It was presented by Andrew Archer, Director of Systra Ireland. Systra is a consulting and engineering firm that gives advice on planning, development and engineering design to develop transport solutions. The Local Transport Plan is a non-statutory document designed to inform local representatives. Mr Archer outlined Mullingar’s strengths and weaknesses regarding transport, along with opportunities for improvement and threats to development.
