An outpouring of tributes to one of Mullingar’s most respected citizens took place last Tuesday, 18 March, when the death was learnd of Eamonn Eddie (The Killer) Byrne.
From the Green Road, Mullingar, Mr Byrne, who was in his 92nd year, died after a short illness, surrounded by his loving family at the Midland Regional Hospital, Mullingar.
