Westmeath great John Heslin announces his inter-county retirement

One of Westmeath’s greatest ever footballers John Heslin has announced his inter-county retirement. Heslin, who has played for Westmeath for the past 14 seasons, has become a household name throughout the country for his ability to produce eye catching performances.

The St Loman’s player, recently became Westmeath’s all-time leading scorer in the championship, passing out his former teammate and manager Dessie Dolan in doing so.
