A study has shown Westmeath ranks ninth in Irish counties for the availability of Public Electric Vehicle Charging Networks.
The analysis compiled by Geotab revealed, that with 990 battery electric vehicles (EV) sold in Westmeath over the previous decade, the county has approximately one charger for 11 battery EVs. There are 87 public electric vehicle chargers in Westmeath.
