Unfortunately it was a familiar old story for the Westmeath ladies last Saturday evening… a brave, courageous effort, but ultimately a defeat, despite all their had work. That was the outcome once more as the Westmeath ladies left Kingspan Breffni Park, in Cavan, last Saturday evening, bitterly disappointed, having lost out to Armagh by six points in this All-Ireland Ladies’ Senior Football Championship qualifier.
