Second half goals by Caoimhe McCrossan and Emma Broughan enabled the Lake County to overcome a weakend Carlow side by 14 points in the end.
Having lost their opening two games to Dublin and Galway’s second string sides, this game against Carlow was one manager Diarmuid Cahill was always going to target for a victory.
