Triathletes from Westmeath are preparing to take on one of sports toughest challenges on the sun and beaches of Cascais, Portugal, this weekend.
A total of 17 athletes from the Midland Triathlon Club, 16 of whom are from Mullingar or close by, are travelling to Cascais, near Lisbon, to take on either the Ironman or Half-Ironman challenge on Saturday, 19 October.
