Disappointment was the word used most often around the Westmeath dressing room area in St Joseph’s Park, Ederney, in Fermanagh last Saturday afternoon.
The home side had just beaten Westmeath senior footballers by a single point, 0-15 to 2-8, to maintain their hopes of promotion from Division 3, but to put end to Westmeath’s hopes of promotion.
