Body & Soul festival returns to Ballinlough Castle

Body & Soul, one of the most unique festivals Ireland has to offer, is set to take place at Ballinlough Castle later this month.

Music, arts, comedy, and wellbeing are just some of the attractions to the lively festival which has called Westmeath its home since 2010.

Music performances from Moderat, Kneecap and Denise Chaila are set to attract huge crowds, while comedy from local star Alison Spittle and legend David O ’Doherty adds another dimension to the jam-packed line up.

Taking place during the Summer Solstice from 16-18 June, this year’s festival is family friendly with children under 12 allowed to attend.

The festival is also promoting a sustainable model this year, with the return of the ‘Leave No Trace’ campsite which is dedicated to those with a greener conscience and aims to encourage more people to leave nothing behind after the weekend.

Body & Soul is a participant of the Green Deal Circular Festivals (GDCF), a collaboration of knowledge and best practice sharing between 22 European festivals and the Dutch Government.

This deal, signed in 2019, sees participating festivals agree to reduce their environmental impact as much as possible by 2025.

Over 5,000 people are expected to attend Body & Soul this year, a limited number of tickets are still available to purchase here
