Get ready for the best Fleadh ever – that’s the advice of Fleadh Executive Committe (FEC) Vice-Chairman Willie Penrose who also promised next week’s Festival would be “family-friendly and one for everybody to enjoy”.
Last year’s Fleadh in Mullingar – the best Fleadh ever at that time, by popular concensus – was enjoyed by around 500,000 visitors – but this year’s is expected to top that. The planning is complete and, according to Mr Penrose, “everyone has come on board to make Fleadh Cheoil na hEireann a festival for the ages”.
