Mullingar Shamrocks GAA Club celebrated their 70th anniversary in style on Saturday night last in the Mullingar Park Hotel before an attendance of close to 350 members.
Invited guests on the night included the President of the GAA, Larry McCarthy, the Bishop of Meath, Most Rev Tom Deenihan, Peter Burke, Minister for State for European Affairs and Defence who is also a long-term member of Mullingar Shamrocks, Frank Mescall, Chairperson of Westmeath GAA County Committee and Robert Troy TD.
