Mullingar Tennis Club’s charity tournament, held on the weekend of Saturday 5, and Sunday 6 April was declared a “huge success” after raising more that €5,000 for Tennis 4 Cancer.
The club played their traditional Michael Creighton tournament, attracting over 90 players, from Moate, Longford, Athlone, Birr and further afield as well as Mullingar club members. Of the 90 players who entered, 32 players qualified to play on the second day of play.
