THE bravery of a quick thinking pilot from Mullingar area, who was forced to make an emergency landing just moments after taking off from Abbeyshrule Airport, outside Ballymahon, on Saturday, meant that he and the four skydiver passengers were able to walk away from the scene unscathed.
It is understood that the experienced pilot brought the plane down safely not far from the runway when the engine suddenly lost power.
