A vehicle parked in the car park close to Fore Abbey in Fore was broken into last week. The window of the vehicle was broken on Monday, 24 March and a bag that was inside the vehicle was stolen.
Gardaí are reminding the public not to leave any bags or valuable items in view when they leave their vehicles and especially in these longer, fine evenings, the public should ensure that all items of value are securely locked away and out of sight of thieves who will break into a car to steal a bag or lap top or any item of value.
