Westmeath canoeing events shortlisted for Event of the Year

Member of Mullingar Canoe Polo club have spoken of their delight after a duo of canoeing events based in Westmeath were nominated for Event of the Year 2024 at the Canoeing Ireland Awards.

The Canoe Polo Irish Open hosted by Mullingar Canoe Polo Club and ‘The Rising,’ a successful charity challenge led by The Blizzards’ frontman, Niall ‘Bressie’ Breslin, were selected as part of a shortlist of nine events to win the award.
