Electric vehicle (EV) registrations in Westmeath from January to July 2024 fell by 32% compared with the same period last year.
160 EVs were registered in Westmeath in the first seven months of 2024 compared with 238 in 2023. The figures were published by the Society of the Irish Motor Industry (SIMI) on Wednesday 31 July. Westmeath’s share of EVs registered in Ireland decreased from 1.29% in 2023 to 1.15% in 2024.
