The funeral details for former Westmeath TD Mary O’Rourke have been announced.
Ms O’Rourke (née Lenihan) passed away peacefully surrounded by her family at the Fern Dean nursing home, Dublin on Thursday. She was 87.
Ms O’Rourke will be reposing at The Strand Funeral Home, Athlone (N37 EXK0) on Sunday, 6 September from 3pm to 6pm.
Mass of the resurrection will take place on Monday, 7 September at Our Lady Queen of Peace Church, Coosan at 12pm, followed by burial in Coosan cemetery.

Ms O’Rourke is predeceased by her parents PJ and Ann Lenihan, her brother’s Brian and Paddy, her sister Anne, her nephews Mark Lenihan, Caoimhìn Lenihan and Brian Lenihan (jnr), her sisters in law Ann Lenihan, Brìd Lenihan, Gertie O’Rourke, Maureen O’Rourke, her brother in law Seamus Walsh and her much loved husband Enda.
