A “quick-thinking” man was awarded at the Westmeath Garda Youth Awards 2024 after saving a baby’s life when she was strapped in a pram that rolled into a canal.
Tyrone Donoghue took the Individual Award for his bravery shown when assisting to prevent a “potentially tragic incident” in Mullingar in March 2023.
