You probably read the Heritage News in Topic every week and never think where that comes from.
Well, let us introduce you to Melanie McQuade, who is the Heritage Officer in Westmeath County Council.
Melanie works on all aspects of heritage in the county including built heritage, historic buildings and structures, natural heritage and cultural heritage. She works closely with the Heritage Council, her colleagues in the Council and community groups across the county.
