THE Minister for Education and Skills, Richard Bruton, TD has informed Cllr. Michael Dollard (Lab.) that his Department’s demographic analyses at post primary level in Mullingar indicate that new school provision is not currently required to cater for the Mullingar school planning area.
“However, in order to cater for increased demographic needs, a project for the expansion of St. Finian’s College in Mullingar has been included on my Six Year Investment Programme 2016-2021, and is scheduled to go to construction in 2017,” he added.
