The attendance figures at Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann have gone beyond the FEC’s “wildest dreams” as 600,000 people are now expected to flock to Mullingar over the eight-day event.
Vice Chair of the Fleadh Executive Committee, Willie Penrose, said attendance projections have been blown out of the water, when speaking after day two of the event.
