Bishop casts new light on Ireland’s patron saint

Bishop Tom Deenihan celebrated the Vigil Mass of St Patrick’s Day at the Cathedral of Christ the King on Thursday, 16 March, a Mass which was concelebrated by Bishop Michael Smith and Bishop Iosif Poǔletț, Bishop of the Catholic Diocese of Iași in Romania, along with five Romanian priests who are presently serving in Ireland, four of whom are working in the Meath Diocese.

Fr Phil Gaffney, Administrator at the Cathedral, Fr Norman Alred CC, and Fr Paul Connell, Chancellor of the Diocese of Meath also concelebrated the Mass while Fr Barry White CC acted as Master of Ceremonies.
