Mount Street traders are taking a proactive approach to rejuvenating their street by calling on the County Council to pedestrianise the town centre street.
The idea was first suggested a number of years ago when a plan was devised with Westmeath County Council to pedestrianise Mount Street. However it was never followed through due to objections at the time.
