There is to be a musical treat, available to all, in Tullynally Castle, Castlepollard from 8pm on Saturday evening of next week, 28 June, thanks to a summer concert provided by the Derravaragh Music Association and enabled at Tullynally Castle by Thomas and Valerie Pakenham.
The concert with a difference, will feature an amazing contrast in musical tastes, including the theme music from ‘Dr. Zhivago’, ‘The Godfather’ and ‘Fiddler on the Roof’, to the music of Johann Strauss, Johann Sebastian Bach, Antonio Vivaldi and Johannes Brahms.
ASTONISHING
PERFORMERS
The music will be in the hands of four astonishing performers, known collectively as ‘Vladimir and his Quartet’.
Providing the music will be ‘Vladimir Jablokov (violin), Anton Jablokov (violin), Rudolf Bado (viola) and Andrew Csibi (double bass).
