Two girls from St Etchen’s NS in Kinnegad will feature in the National Library of Ireland in an archive called ‘Life under Covid-19 in Ireland’. Alexa Murphy-Hall and Yomna Hassan Mansour were photographed by Damien Eagers for The Irish Times when they were in third class. 200 press photos taken by 70 photographers between 2020 and 2021 will feature in the archive.
It captures the workers, the public and key officials adapting to living with Covid. The archive has been donated by Press Photographers Ireland and will be made available to the public later this year when it has been catalogued.
