Scoil Chroí Naofa, Rochfortbridge have been working very hard since November 2021 to attain a green flag for travel from An Taisce. The school’s travel slogan is ‘walk to school and save the fuel’.
The Green School’s travel programme is funded by the Department of Transport, Tourism and Sport. The aim is to encourage students, parents, and teachers to walk, cycle, scoot, use public transport, park and stride or carpool instead of using the private car on the school run.
