Westmeath County Council published its Gender Pay Gap Report on 21 December 2023, highlighting the percentage difference between what men and women are paid on average in the council, irrespective of roles or levels.
The 2023 report highlights how pay is examined at different levels of the organisation across four Quartile Pay Bands, Lower, Lower Middle, Upper Middle and Upper which show the distribution of male and female employees by Pay Band across the organisation.
