Fleadh Chairperson Joe Connaire said he is proud to have succeeded in hosting the “best Fleadh ever” in Mullingar this year “that will be spoken about for the rest of time”.
He confirmed that over 600,000 people attended the event, higher than original projections, but the committee, local authority, and emergency services managed the increased footfall effectively.
