A Westmeath dog agility trainer is prepping for a defence of his dog agility competition win in the upcoming Dogitude Festival. Ger Power, of Newtown, Clonmellon, won last years Dogitude Festival in the large dogs category, with his companion, Loki, a six-year-old collie.
This year, Ger competes with Loki, and three-year-old collie, Freya, at the festival which takes place on 25 and 26 May.
