Two goals in just over a minute, while Westmeath were down to 14 players, turned this contest in Meath’s favour as the Royals went on to win this Leinster Ladies’ Minor Football Championship group game by seven points in Lakepoint Park, Mullingar, last Saturday afternoon. Up until Westmeath’s Lucy McCartan was harshly sin-binned, this was a very close and competitive affair.
