The Oxfam store at Oliver Plunkett Street, Mullingar, near the Market Square, has been closed since the tragic death on June 16 last of Trudi Soysal (40), the founder of the Mullingar Oxfam store.
This week, Gertie Balfe, the mother of the deceased young woman, who worked for a number of years for Oxfam, has spoken out publicly about the death of her daughter, who took her own life on June 16. She claimed that Trudi was “left broken” by the intense sales-driven focus of the charity.
