Wilson’s Hospital School and St Joseph’s Secondary School will compete in the national Pi Quiz final at Maynooth University on Saturday, 20 April. Wilson’s hosted the regional final on Thursday 14 March where 23 teams participated.
Third year students Laura Williamson, Megan Magovern, Charlotte Farrell and Matthew Caroll Martinez made up the Wilson’s team. The group were crowned winners of the regional final with 17 points. St Joseph’s Rochfortridge also progressed after a tiebreaker in the regional qualifier.
