In a press release on 26 April Cllr Denis Leonard criticised the response from the Department of Transport to his letter asking for clarification on the publication of the Killucan Train Station feasibility report. Correspondence from the Department for Transport appeared to place the feasibility study conductors, Irish Rail, as the group responsible for publishing the Killucan Train Station feasibility report, contrary to prior thought when it was believed it was the Department for Transport’s responsibility.
