Minister of State Peter Burke is set to represent Ireland in Italy and the Holy See as part of the Government’s upcoming St Patrick’s Day Programme.
Minister Burke’s office has made a request for an audience with Pope Francis, however as the Pontiff only meets with Heads of State, it’s unlikely that an audience will be possible.
