In what he has described as a “great honour”, Mullingar musician Niall Horan took to the stage in the White House last Friday to perform for the US President Joe Biden.
The performance was part of an afternoon of St Patrick’s Day celebrations in the White House, which was also attended by Taoiseach Leo Varadkar, US Vice-President Kamala Harris, Sinn Féin leader Deputy Mary Lou McDonald, and former US House speaker Nancy Pelosi.
