The official opening of the new headquarters for Westmeath Civil Defence took place last Friday afternoon, 28 July.
Based at Lough Sheever Corporate on the outskirts of Mullingar, the new headquarters was was opened by Minister of State for European Affairs and Defence, Peter Burke with the assistance of Cathaoirleach of Westmeath County Council (WCC), Cllr Liam McDaniel.
