Second-half surge sees Brigid’s overcome black and ambers

St. Brigid’s qualified for this year’s intermediate hurling county final after a deserved seven-point victory over Castletown-Geoghegan at Cusack Park last Sunday morning. Although conditions were ideal on a beautifully sunny autumn morning, this was a game that never really came to life until the second half.

St. brigid’s: 2-18
Castletown-geoghegan: 2-11
