There was success for one local surgery at the 12th annual ICGP (Irish College of General Practitioners) Quality in Practice Awards, which took place at the ICGP AGM in Galway on Saturday, 7 May 2016.
North Westmeath-based Coole Surgery, won the top award at the prestigious event, for their ‘Weight while you wait’ facility, which takes patients’ weight and height measurements by availing of scales in the practice, born out of the new free GP care for under-sixes contract.
